I recommand first doing a factory reboot.
- Press the Gear icon.
- Go to Admin Settings.
- Go to Reset (option 4)
- Go to All Settings (option 2)
- Press Reset button (This action resets all settings to factory defaults.)
If the admin settings are disabled (can be done by previous owner)
you can do a manual factory reset:
Reset Cisco 88xx to factory
- Keep pressing “#” when you power on the phone.
- You will see the headset,speaker and mute will light on and then light off.
- When you see only headset and speaker turn on again, please press 123456789*0# in sequence.
- After you pressed the the first digit “1”, you will see speaker turn off.
- After all the number are input completely in sequence, you will see Mute button turns on to indicate phone begin to do the factory reset.
