Asterisk Default Outbound CID

Hello,
I am working with an old Asterisk/Trixbox (for now).
Asterisk V 2.8.0.4
I was wondering if anyone knows where a default Outbound CID might be forced to use if the Outbound CID does not work.
For example, when using a 3rd party app to click-to-dial, it uses a default CID, not the extension CID.
It’s not within the 3rd party app, verified that.
When dialing directly from the physical phone, the Extension CID does display as expected.
Not sure if there is a conf file somewhere that has set this default CID or what.
Fairly new to FreePBX, and I have a new Distro being setup now to get rid of this old thing.
