Any way to restore from a backup via CLI, when fwconsole doesn't function, or would it just be easier to build a new machine? If I build a new machine, someone's going to have to do a zendreset for me, as I can't do them myself anymore (max reached, as we migrated from on-prem to virtualized, then amazon cloud, then google cloud, etc.). I could give them access to the existing box so they can kill it if they need that validation, but I'd have to have that done if I were going to build a new one. Hell, might be the time to upgrade to 14 then.

As a side note, I'm thinking the Module Admin module should do a DF command (or something) and confirm at least 10% drive space available before allowing the upgrade. Just a thought...

PBXact 100 not detecting A400 FXO card

I've been messing around with this issue for the last week. I got the system to finally see the card after taking it apart, pushing the card to make sure it's securely installed in the PCI slot and turning it back on. I though I was good to go. Now, I am onsite to install this system and I am running into the same problem. I turned it off, made sure it was plugged in correctly and turned it back on. The card came online and I thought I was good. Now, the system won't see the card again. It's an A400 with hardware echo cancellation and a total of 10 FXO lines. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Auto dialing a number

Hello everyone, this is my first post.

Currently using free PBX v2.11.0.42 in our office. Yes I know its old but has worked well and our early upgrade attempts went wrong and we had to wind back so stayed with it. We will be upgrading and reconfiguring everything soon.

Would like to know if this is possible..

On our company web based admin panel, a user can click a button and it will dial out a number via zoiper on their PC and headset via SIP - which was easy enough to do.

Is it somehow possible in FreePBX to make a web call via HTTP, JSONP etc from our company system to free pbx that could make the users extension number ring and when answered dial the number that was made in the http request?

We are trying to save (a) the time dialing a number makes (b) the number of wrong numbers people dial.

We use Panasonic KX-UT113 SIP phones with it and these work well.

Hope that makes sense.

Hello,

A new Hotel with 45 Rooms wants a PBX Solution. I dont know if FreePBX is the right for this project.

I know there is a Hotel Wakeup module, but how can they bill the customer for external calls they made?

I dont want to build a own Sandbox 3rd Party Solution for the customer.

Is there an supported way from Sangoma howto build a Hotel PBX Solution with PBXAct?

Thank you for all answers.

Anyone got any idea why '/etc/init.d/dahdi status' and 'systemctl status dahdi' would give different results on boot? I thought this was the smoking gun!

Failover Internet Programming

Yes sir. Two wan connections coming in for redundancy. If I stick with a single WAN IP in my Chan_Sip Settings I get one way audio and dropped calls when WAN2 takes over. Is it as simple as activating the DDNS in System Admin Pro and putting that in for my Dynamic WAN IP in Chan_SIP?

Yes, it should be. Keep in mind that updates run at most, every 15 min so there will be a window of downtime.
