Thanks for the clarification NIC. Here is some more information to help clarify the situation. I have a small office (15 phones) with a static public IP going to it. I have the same from my home where I am setting up the FreePBX system with the intent of taking it to the office when I am done. I created a new domain name in GoDaddy that I can point to either my home IP or the Office IP as needed. The FreePBX will be set up with a static internal private IP Address. I have full control of our GoDaddy domains, our Ofice 365 administration, our router, etc. I really don't care how we get FreePBX email set up. just want it to be able to send out email like our current FreePBX we have running on a Raspberry PI. I would like to go with the easiest to maintain and simplest approach.

Intermittent DTMF Issues
We have a FreePBX server on site that seems to experience intermittent DTMF issues. When a caller dials in from the outside, an auto attendant prompts the caller with options and allows direct 3 digit extension dialing. If the caller dials a three-digit extension, about 50% of the time it sends the caller to the operator, which is option ‘0’ in the IVR. It might be important to point out that most of the extensions in the system have a 0 in them, usually as the second digit.
So far, I have recorded incoming calls and tested from an external number, and determined all the DTMF tones were coming across from the carrier, as they were all audible and visible when I loaded them into Audacity. After finding that, I enabled full logging and found that sometimes, the first digit dialed when dialing an extension would not be recorded in the logs, hence the first digit recognized would be ‘0’ and send the caller to the operator.
It seems clear to me that the issue is with the Asterisk module responsible for determining DTMF tones, but I do not know where to go from here. We have changed some hardware options for the circuit interface card based on forum posts we have read, but so far the issue is still occurring. Thanks in advance!

I just want to make sure it is clear that I don't have a preference how I set things up. I know you guys are a lot smarter than me so I am simply looking for recommendations on the best way to make it simple, reliable and maintainable.
UCP Device Managment
just buy ucp for epm. it is only a one time fee
Issues while trying to upgrade from version 2.11 to 12
I had a similar issue and broke the web gui entirely, I had to replace the files in /var/www/html from backup/a similar setup PBX to get it rolling again.
Pbx_config creating incorrect entries in extensions_additional.conf
I had the Class of Service module installed, but I decided that I would do dialplan restrictions a different way (copying and modifying a template in Endpoint Manager), so I uninstalled it. It gave me an error when it uninstalled, saying that it failed to run the uninstaller script. Now there are still these entries in extensions_additional.conf:
;[outbound-restricted-routes]
;include => outbound-restricted-routes-custom
;exten => _[+0-9].,1,Macro(user-callerid,LIMIT)
;exten => _[+0-9].,n,Set(ROUTEUSER=${IF($["${EXTTOCALL}"!=""]?${EXTTOCALL}:${AMPUSER})})
;exten => _[+0-9].,n,GotoIf($["${BLINDTRANSFER}" == ""]?notblind)
;exten => _[+0-9].,n,Set(ENDPOINT=${CUT(BLINDTRANSFER,-,1)})
;exten => _[+0-9].,n,Set(ROUTEUSER=${CUT(ENDPOINT,/,2)})
;exten => [+0-9].,n(notblind),GotoIf($[${LEN(${ROUTEUSER})}>0 & ${DBEXISTS(AMPUSER/${ROUTEUSER}/outroute_hash)}]?${DB(AMPUSER/${ROUTEUSER}/outroute_hash)},${EXTEN},2:outbound-allroutes,${EXTEN},2)
;exten => h,1,Hangup
;--== end of [outbound-restricted-routes] ==--;
;[restrictedroute-cfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da]
;include => restrictedroute-cfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da-custom
;exten => null,1,Noop(Unused Variable)
;exten => h,1,Hangup
;exten => i,1,Goto(bad-number,s,1)
;--== end of [restrictedroute-cfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da] ==--;
and in [from-internal-additional]
the line:
;include => outbound-restricted-routes ; extensionroutes
I commented them out to troubleshoot, which allows the restrictions to go away. It's restricting dialing extensions over an IAX trunk to another site. Obviously when I make a change in the GUI the commented out lines are uncommented again.
/var/log/asterisk/full tells me:
[2017-09-25 11:05:37] VERBOSE[19551] pbx.c: Including context 'outbound-restricted-routes' in context 'from-internal-additional'
How do I get pbx_config to stop adding those entries to extensions_additional? I tried reinstalling and uninstalling the module a couple of times to no avail. If Class of Service is causing me problems this way, I want to get rid of the changes that it makes, not reinstall it and set it up to allow calling between sites.
Thank you,
Court
Intermittent DTMF Issues
Several years ago I had a similar problem. IIRC, there's a setting for minimum DTMF duration that you can tweak - on my system is was 0.5 seconds, which was too long for most of the people that sent key presses (especially from things like cell phones). I'd start there.
Intermittent DTMF Issues
Depends a lot on trunk type (SIP?, DAHDI?), and your trunk DTMF settings.

These contexts are generated by the Extension Routes module, not the COS module.
UCP Device Managment
If you've definitely purchased a license for UCP for EPM (not just EPM) and it is not showing as licensed when you browse to Admin, System Admin, Activation even after you click the button there to update, then open a support ticket of type Customer Service & Billing so we can investigate.
Deployment on new server
Hello,
I changed the server. I want transfert the deployement ID to the new server for commercial modules (FreePBX CM XactDialer / Brodcast).
I made a hardware reset and remove the licence from the old server. But the new server don't find the licence, and there is no option to force the licence with the new ID deployment
So we can not longer carry out call with this module (licence not found, on the old and on the new server)...
Any ideas to resolve the probleme ?

Deployment on new server
I have read this, and already make the reset hardware on old server. The new server is activated. But the licence is not transfered....
IAX2 show peers - shows trunk available with only 1 side configured
Just curious about the behavior of my IAX configurations. If I configure one side of the trunk on a PBX and stat the line, it shows that the trunk is available. Is this normal behavior that I haven't noticed?
After I configure ONE side of an IAX trunk then do a "IAX2 SHOW PEERS" it shows the trunk as "OK"
Ex:
COR07_WSA01/T 192.168.208.34 (S) 255.255.255.255 4569 (T) (E) OK (23 ms)
but haven't configured on the other end yet. The other PBX is available from a network perspective, but no trunks are yet configured. If I were to drop the NIC/reboot the far end, the trunk will then report "UNAVAILABLE"
Below is what I'm using for trunk configurations for my IAX.
username=COR07_WSA01
type=friend
trunk=yes
transfer=no
secret=a8s9df7a09s8df7a08sdf7a
qualifyfreqok=25000
qualify=yes
host=192.168.208.34
forceencryption=yes
encryption=yes
context=from-internal
auth=md5
Pbx_config creating incorrect entries in extensions_additional.conf
Ok, I see, thank you. I looked at the Admin manual for Extension Routes, and it says that CoS modifies settings in in it. I see in module admin that the Extension Routes module is installed and is a commercial version. I compared it to another FreePBX system that I have already set up, and the other system shows a non-commercial version of Extension routes installed. I see that all my outbound routes settings on this system show what appears to be none of the extensions allowed to use the Outbound Routes. On the other FreePBX system outbound routes doesn't show that in Additional Settings. How do I remove the Extension Routes settings on the outbound routes to remove the restrictions? What happens if I just uninstall the Extension routes module?
Thank you,
Court
edited for clarification
Deployment on new server
If the new server is activated using the old deployment ID, then the licensing is transferred.
UCP Device Managment
Hi!
I have a dumb question...
What happens to the renewal fees next year once he buys UCP for EPM?
Because of the values of the separate products they were different I believe than what they would be now with the new bundle, no?
Once he has both products it is equivalent to the new bundle...
So does he stay with the old renewal pricing or gets the new one once he has both products?
(Question is which one is actually preferable for him, I don't remember the exact rules for renewal pricing and the old price of the products...)
Have a nice day!

FreePBX Distro Install w/Static IP
So I've looked around a bit, but am not finding any answers to this particular question. I've been trying to install the FreePBX distro on ESXi, but the install always comes up corrupt, missing fwconsole and a number of other items. Looking around, this seems to be because my setup doesn't have DHCP, and uses static IPs only, thus the install isn't getting any outbound access.
Is there a way to set, prior to install, a static IP?
Thanks,
Don
FreePBX 14, Sangoma A500: ISDN extension can be dialed but won't dial
Installed FreePBX, applied all updates. Trunks and SIP-phones are all PJSIP.
SIP-part is fully functional.
SANGOMA A500 is installed as bri_net_ptmp to connect internal ISDN-Phones.
All defined DAHDI-extensions can be dialled (from SIP-extensions and from the outside).
When I dial from a DAHDI-extension, the dialplan only receives the CID of the calling extension but no dialled number at all.
