With a PBXact UC 40, I have tried and tried to set up email using my O365 account to no avail. Oddly, I can get GMail to work though gmail is a personal account vs business.

The screensaver on the only s500 I have in a recent install seems to not be working.

I set the settings in the endpoint manager exactly the same as I did for the s400 and s700s in the same deployment and they seem to be working correctly.

Any ideas on what I may need to adjust or where I should begin my troubleshooting?

I have set this value to 120.

Today i made a Asterisk Upgrade to the latest version.

4 Panasonic phone came up after the Reboot of FreePBX and 2 Panasonic Phones did not connect anymore. The customer needs to plug the AC Adapter out and restart them manually. Everytime it is a gamble with the TGP-600 if they come up or not.

Phones are Connected with TLS/SRTP Letsencrypt cert. The customer also has some SPA112 Adapters and Yealink T48S Phones, but they work perfectly without any problems. They instandly reconnect after the reboot of the PBX.

I found another Value:
Supports Session Timer (RFC 4028)
SIP_SESSION_TIME_[1–8]

I set this now from "Disabled" (0) to the value 1800 seconds.

Maybe this solves the problems

I have yet another questions . In bound and aoutbound calls from twilio are working. I am able to forward an external call to cucm and dial exts in between both systems. how ever when an external call comes in it drops after 32 seconds. Any ideas

Turn on SIP debugging and you will see. Call drop at 30 seconds is because the ACK request is not being received. In the SIP dialog setup (simplified) the caller sends INVITE, the recipient accepts the call and replies with 200 OK, then the caller sends ACK to finish the sequence.

The UC 40 has four-ethernet ports on the back. Does the UC-40 have the ability to aggregate or bond the ethernet ports together as a LAG for additional throughput on the same IP address?

With a capacity of 30-concurrent calls, how many ports are most connecting and are they all being connected with static-IPs?

If most are utilizing less that 4-ports, are the ports included for future use?

At the Asterisk Developer conference there was a discussion about sunsetting chan_sip. Chan_sip has not been actively maintained in 4ish years and has 233 open bugs that will likely never be addressed. In contrast PJSIP only has 33 open bugs. It is under active development.

One requirement was feature parity such as missing CCSS which is a huge thing in some places.
The only other thing called out in a room full of people was outbound subscriptions.

Now would doing this affect any possible support contract you have with Sangoma for your PBXact UC 40, I do not know...

I do not believe it is possible to get things working without those address remaps as I believe not all sender email address are legit even when "My Domain" (Postfix's mydomain) is set correctly.

(One of these days I will try to confirm this...)

Is there any easy way to disable Gzip compression on the Backups in FreePBX? I notice it can take some time to gzip up voicemail and CDR's, to the point that I had to increase the timeout for PHP so backups didn't fail.

That said I run backups to a remote system using ZFS with automatic file compression, so really no need at all to compress the data over here when backing up. So if any easy way to reduce the level, or turn it off, I would love to know..

I have been working with a customer on ring strategies for a queue on Static Vrs Dynamic agents.

The customer likes the rrmemory type ring strategy. The issue seem to be getting the queue to ring the phones in a specific order when the queue is configured this way.

I really like Dynamic queues, but no matter what I try we cannot get any type of logic to the order of the agents being called. Even if we enter the agents in the pre-populated dynamic list, freePBX seems to re order them into numerical value.

So the only way I have been able to make this work is to use static agents, which is a bit of a drag. Has anyone actually found a way around this as the customer would prefer to use dynamic queues rather than static?

none of does above commands work they just halt with no error i tried many options my last one was

Can anyone recommend any BRI/ISDN gateways that's compatible with FreePBX? I'm looking for something that will output at least one BRI (TE or NT) on an FXS port.
I see that Sangoma has some cards that support BRI. Never tried these before.

We also have BRI gateways. Our Vega 50 has a BRI version.
