Node Key - Cannot Locate

$

Hello
I recently upgrade my system from FreePBX 13 to 14. Now the RSM module won't start. I red a post indicating I need to re-enter my "Node Key" into the "update" section of the RSM module. My issue is I can't seem to locate the node key. I've check in the portal and can't find it there as well.
Where is the node key located?
Any assistance is very much appreciated.

Thanks

Nevertheless; I disabled the Intra Compnay Option and VOILA.
I can see my (internal) dialling number on my mobile.
Thats what we wanted in 1st step.
Thank you very much, Ben. This hint was great.

I'd start by submitting a ticket to get the developers to look at it too. Most people use permanent time conditions, so it might be something peculiar to your installation or the version you're using.

What number is the Vega dialing? Use 'x for most digits.

"Trunk Dial Timeout" per trunk?

What are you talking about?

Let me rephrase that - what are you trying to do? The reason I ask is because by the time a trunk gets involved, dial timeout isn't an issue, so your question is the same as "How fast is a mauve database?"

Unless you can reproduce this and can get a call trace, a ticket is premature. I can't reproduce this, and if all outbound calling was broken until making arbitrary changes to time groups, both the forum and issue tracker would be flooded with reports.

I meant route too, but yeah glad it is working as desired now.

BLF on Unused Line Keys missing and not working

Was there a fix implemented for this. We are running Asterisk 13.17.0 with DPMA 3.4.1 and there is no option for blf on unused line keys.

This is like all the others causing huge problems for some users using the D50 phones.

You haven't decided if you want to install yourself or have someone else do it. POS hardware to check out the system makes perfect sense in your case.

Yes.

"Trunk Dial Timeout" per trunk?

Dial timeout is system wide, set as a global variable, TRUNK_RING_TIMER which is as specified in Advanced Settings. I can't think of why one would need to, but you could use the custom dialplan and the macro macro-dialout-trunk-predial-hook to alter the value before the outbound dial.

Our agents are hearing the default ringtones 8 hours a day. Is there a preferred friendly ring alert that is less annoying. A beep or chirp perhaps?

We've seen this question before and (IIRC) the problem was a session timeout on the firewall.

The functionality was re-implemented in the Digium Phones Add-on for FreePBX version 13.0.7.2, which showed up in the FreePBX Edge repository later as 13.0.7.3, with an additional fix for a trailing parenthesis in the injected dialplan code for handling a few things specific to the phones.

So I placed the following line into the /etc/asterisk/asterisk.conf file:

mindtmfduration = 80

And restarted asterisk. I'm not sure if this had any effect, but I did some more test calls and keep getting the same issue. Did I place this in the wrong file possibly? Does anyone have any more ideas? Thanks in advance!

... and remember that Cisco uses short passwords. The SPA504G is 30 characters, 7642G is 12, and the 7940 is 8. The 7910 doesn't use a password since it's a SCCP only phone (but is supported in FreePBX with Chan-SCCP-B).

Hi James!

Is it possible it might already have been released?

I saw a notice about a new module (if I am not mistaken) yesterday... I wanted to install it to at least see what it was about but it had one or multiple dependencies on other modules I have disabled so I did not...

(I disable every module which requires a licence which I don't have...)

Have a nice day!

Nick

Which is more efficient, ChanSIP or PJSIP?

Understand that what you start with is always the easiest. Some folks have been using chan_sip over a decade so the switch is not overly desirable. About 8years ago I tried playing with freeswitch after years of using Asterisk. After an hour or so I moved on. This isn't anything wrong with freeswitch, just my brain simply said NOPE because it lived in Asterisk mode.
