Perhaps
There was an error updating the certificate
I’ve posted this before, but the post seems to be deleted with no explanation. Hopefully that’s a glitch and this is ok to post.
I am receiving this error:
There was an error updating the certificate: Error ‘Requested host ‘MyDeploymentID.deployments.pbxact.com’ does not resolve to ‘xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx’ (Found yy.yyy.yy.yyy)’ when requesting http://MyDeploymentID.deployments.pbxact.com//.freepbx-known/WholeBunchOfNumbersAndLetters_HidingInCaseTheyAreSecure
In the error above, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is my current IP address. The IP address it found, yy.yyy.yy.yyy, is a previous IP address of the server (We got a new ISP). It seems like the error is saying that the DDNS address (MyDeploymentID.deployments.pbxact.com) is trying to direct to the old IP address. But my DDNS settings in system admin and on the Sangoma portal both point to the new IP address, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. I tried deleting the old certificate and tried creating a new one (using let’s encrypt) and I received the same error.
I’m far from an expert, but it seems like the deployment address from the DDNS service hasn’t updated to my new IP address.
Any idea how to fix this?

Check the wiki how to configure your PBX for email.
I think that’s for sysadmin pro, but it’s just 25$ and it’s worth it.

Steps to getting FreePBX to work with Office 365 email
Where is this change made? Within Office365 or elsewhere? Great guide!
It is made with your domain registrar. (Godaddy, etc).
Incoming calls only last 20 seconds
They are actually lasting 30 seconds most likely. Its possible your firewall UDP timeout could be 20. Normally from my experience something is incorrect with NAT. Are these phones remote or is the PBX onsite? If they are local then make sure you have that network in SIP Settings added.

You can also disable to parking tone when someone parks a call as well as the idle screen notification under Phone Apps > Parking

Frequently but not always…
It is only made there for people who don’t have their own DNSes or are not using a third party DNS…
At least one of my personal (as in for home) domain and my employer have one or all of their domains hosted elsewhere than at the domain registrar…
Your domain registrar has to know which DNSes resolve your domain(s) but does not have to host them, they just frequently do but it’s pretty easy to find example of domains which are not using their registrar DNSes…
Have a nice day!

FreePBX 14.0.1.20: Incoming calls from outside network do not go through
Restarting the Asterisk service from the command line solved this problem. Incoming calls are now going through.
Ooh323 port 1720 closed after first call
Just to update, the problem resolved after I upgraded pfSense firewall from version 2.3 to the latest 2.4.2
Not really sure is this the caused. My intentions upgrade the firewall is not for this purpose.
Ooh323 port 1720 closed after first call
pfSense had a bug with UDP packets over IPsec. Not sure if your specific situation was but here is the ticket:
Not able to add users to groups in User Management
I’m attempting to setup groups in user management and can’t figure out how you add the users. I have created my extensions in Extensions then go into User Management and i’m able to create additional groups but i’m not able to assign users to the groups. The user button shows none selected but when clicked it does nothing. I go into the PBX Internal Directory group and that same button has all the users in it.
What step did I miss making the users available to add to the group?
I’m running FreePBX 14.0.1.20 and modules are updated.
Not able to add users to groups in User Management
Do users exist? Everything is working fine for me, testing with User Management ver. 14.0.3.30
Not able to add users to groups in User Management
I show a bunch of users in the All Users group. I can select or deselect users from that Group but can’t add any into the other group I have created.
My user Management Module is 14.0.3.30 as well.
