I think we figured out a work around. I think two time conditions, one forwarding to the other, with mirroring time groups will do the trick.

@lgaetz Ok thanks, this works perfectly as is.

exten => s,1,Wait(1)
exten => s,n,SipAddHeader(Diversion:<tel:${DEXTEN}>\;reason=no-answer\;screen=no\;privacy=off)
exten => s,n,Dial(SIP/Exch4UM5065/6010)
;exten => s,n,DumpChan
exten => s,n,Hangup()

But now to add functionality!!

We have multiple Exchange UC servers all seutp as trunks and I made outbound routes specifically to test them.

Now I made a single outbound route with all the Exchange UC trunks. Can I send this context that way instead of dialling each trunk?

The old context had all four UC servers one after the other each time. Obviously I can do that here. But an outbound route would handle this better.

I downloaded iso newest version 1805-1. Set up using automatic setup which gave me default password sangomadefaultpassword. In FreePBX login: I typed in root, root/root, admin, admin/admin…none of these work…under password won’t even let me type anything?

At the login prompt, type “root” without the quotes and press enter. You should then see a Password: prompt.
Carefully type “SangomaDefaultPassword” without the quotes. The characters you type will not appear on the screen but they are being read. Use proper capitalization (unless you are sure that the all-lower-case one that you posted is correct). After typing the password press enter. With luck you will get logged in. If no luck, post a screenshot and details of what happened.

We have had MYSQL work horribly slow before when a table got corrupted. We had to run the mysql table checker (Can’t think of name right now) to fix it.

I’ve run these two mysql repairs so far:

mysqlcheck -u root -p asteriskcdrdb --auto-repair -c -o

mysqlcheck -u root -p asterisk --auto-repair -c -o

Not sure if there is another one I should run or not

Time Condition/Call Flow hybrid

So yes, I get that I can manually override a Time Condition (and it’s super important that we can do this) but the problem that we run into is that there is a specific start/end time to a time condition that might not be accurate for what we want it to do.

So like in the example of the doctors office their morning start time is not always the same (yes, totally weird I know but that’s how they work). So while they want every day at 5pm for calls to be rolled over to VM, in the mornings they want to roll the phones back to ring phones manually. So setting a start time that’s “wrong” for that time condition doesn’t really make sense so our initial thought was set the start time to be really wrong, like 16:59 and the end time 17:00 and then override every morning to ring to the phones otherwise it’s set to go to VM 23:59 hours each day.

Between 16:59 and 17:00 it would then not match and ring the phones normally still as the non matching condition and then at 17:00 it would start to route to VM again because it’s matching the condition again… Unless I am not understanding how the feature code override functions and it won’t do this automatically at 17:00 if we have the Time Condition overridden in the morning.

My assumption here is that whenever I dial the feature code to override the time condition it will automatically swing back to do whatever the time conditions tell it to once it’s 17:00 again for that day and the time group is matching the incoming call time.

Inbound Routes without Destinations

Same as Dave, only inadvertently, after deleting a destination. Depending on the use of the DID, it might not be resolved right away either. I was unaware of it flowing into the next route that has a destination, thanks for sharing that.

If you have any processes running that you are not wanting, then bludgeon them away with (as root)

kiil -9 (pid)

you can do that at any time.

There is no indication here that any databases are corrupt, if they where, mysql is unlikely to complete its start process, which includes checking all databases for corruption.

killing a pid in mysql won’t corrupt the mysql database in any way?

No, if the process has hung for that long, it is obviuosly not doing anything useful. If your nervous just stop mysql , Asterisk has no need for it, so your system runs as ever, probably smoother.

At any time, you can use mysql’s ‘show process’ procedure, profiling mysql might help you here

https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/show-profile.html

so you will need to pre-prepare your system , then watch for all the WTFs
