You don't have to lay hands on, but you can go to Admin - Phone Restart - and choose the particular extension you want to reboot.

Configuring Grandstream HT503 As Trunk
I've got two HT503s for which I'm trying to configure the FXO ports as trunks. I've setup two trunks in FreePBX and configured two usernames and passwords. But for one of the HT503s I see in the Asterisk CLI a repeating message:
NOTICE[1584]: chan_sip.c:28353 handle_request_register: Registration from '<sip:usernameIset@ht506hostname>' failed for '10.0.2.22:5062' - Wrong password
I do not get this from the other HT503. I have set and reset the password in both FreePBX and in the HT503.
Maybe related, the home screen on both HT503s continue to show "Not Registered."
Any Ideas?

Did you set and reset the port (5062) the device is expecting to use in your "trunk"?
Conference Bridge Muting Participants
Hello,
I'm getting lots of complaints from users that the conference bridge is muting callers without warning, it happens 4 or 5 times in an hour long conference. From what I can tell, it's only cell phone callers coming in on the PRI into a Sangoma 2 port card.
When it happens, the caller can press 1 and unmute themselves. If i had to guess I would say that they are hitting the frequencies just right to cause the sever to think it is the 1 DTMF but that seems unrealistic.
I haven't been able to find a way to disable the mute option in the conference bridges. Any ideas?

i kept getting this error this morning. What is this?
Configuring Grandstream HT503 As Trunk
No, I never changed it. In either HT503. I left it at the default 5062. As you can see from the message the HT503 is connecting. Just some sort of weird password error that I don't understand.

Surely the SIP default is 5060 (or 5061 if you are hampered with pjsip) those devices usually use a different port for each FXO/FXS you will need to configure your Asterisk endpoint to suit.
High Availability error, Asterisk doesn't properly start
Having an issue with High Availability. HA and sysadmin on latest versions.
When I change nodes, asterisk doesn't properly start.
No phones register and I see a "No such command 'sip show peers" error.
I have to do a fwconsole restart for Asterisk to properly start.
I also get a "asterisk_service on freepbx-a was not running" error on the GUI under the HA section.
What's wrong?

CDR Reports Rention
So is there a way to clear the CDR report
Configuring Grandstream HT503 As Trunk
I changed the SIP port in the Grandstream from it's default 5062 to 5060 and now it's using a random high port instead of 5060:
[2016-03-07 19:45:59] NOTICE[1584]: chan_sip.c:28353 handle_request_register: Registration from '<sip:userid@devicename>' failed for '10.0.2.22:19039' - Wrong password
Configuring Grandstream HT503 As Trunk
That is normal, now find the correct authority for the account you are trying to register.
CHAN_PJSIP disabled
Well, two months late here but I just discovered this. I'm trying to follow some instructions that tell me to use the chan_pjsip driver. If I try to set the SIP Channel Driver setting to "Both" it just resets itself to "chan_sip"
Is chan_pjsip no longer available?
Configuring Grandstream HT503 As Trunk
Two things. One, I found the "port=5062" setting in the FreePBX trunk screen. So I'm trying that. And by authority do you mean user and password? Yea, I've checked and double checked.
Now the wiki comes up with this for the HT503:
And I realize I haven't setup an extension yet. But it says to use chan_pjsip and somehow chan_pjsip is disabled.
POE SIP phone w/o lcd
Hi all
I'm looking for a SIP phone that doesn't have a screen, something like Cisco spa301, but I need it to be POE
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Provision and update Grandstream GXP2130
I've been playing with a couple of GXP2160s and can't get them to reboot from the EPM. My old Yealinks do. There are some things I really like about the Grandstreams, but there are some serious frustrations as well.
Provision and update Grandstream GXP2130
I know. Its really hit and miss with their firmware in the last year. I have 75 of the 2160's that Im gonna phase out for the new Sangoma phones.
POE SIP phone w/o lcd
Can you explain "no display" That would probably be the hardest thing to find.
May have to go with something like: http://www.amazon.com/Planet-VIP-156PE-802-3af-Telephony-Adapter/dp/B00YV42ED2
with an analog phone
SNOM PA-1 and the CEPM
Out of the box I was really excited to see the Snom PA1 as a certified device for the Commercial End Point Manager.
I created a regular sip extension, stuck the PA1's MAC into the MAC field in the End Point section. Everything worked! I have a few snom* files in my /tftpboot directory
ls snom*
snom1-000413335136-firmware.xml
snomlect--firmware.xml
snomlect-.htm snomlect.htm
snomPA1-000413335136.htm
snomPA1.htm
The unit boots up, pulls it's config and registers as extension 8888. Perfect!
Only problem is... it doesn't answer so there's no paging.
I have another site where I configured the PA1 manually and it's been working great. But since this device is listed as Certified I wonder what I need to change in the CEPM to make it work?
