This is exactly what a lot of people are looking for. Is there any chance of getting a walkthrough/tutorial from you on how to set this up? This opens up a massive amount of possibility. You are probably too busy, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

The following modules are disabled because they need to be upgraded:
restart, sangomacrm, xmpp, zulu
You should go to the module admin page to fix these.
I go to module admin but they won’t upgrade.
Zulu shows * The Module Named " Asterisk REST Interface Users " is required, but yours is disabled.

  • Requires engine asterisk (>= 13), you have: asterisk 11.19.0
Asterisk Rest interface users is disabled up to date. Requires engine asterisk (>= 12), you have: asterisk 11.19.0
CRM says The Module Named " Zulu " is required, but yours is disabled because it needs to be upgraded. Please upgrade Zulu first, and then try again.
I ran fwconsole ma upgradeall and get
    [root@xxxx ~]# fwconsole ma upgradeall

I am hitting send. It does have a transfer key as well. I am using Yealink phones

BLF's not working right with Yealink 83.0.X firmware. Response from Yealink

PolycomVVX-VVX_410-UA/5.5.1.15880 was installed via EPM.

I think it was set as a standard in 2005: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4235

I wonder how many manufacturers are following that standard and how many other PBX systems follow it? Is it that manufacturers are adopting it too quickly or that asterisk is slow at adopting it?

It is nice to see Sangoma participating in the forums often. One of the great things about them.

Yeah, in my reply in the PJSIP thread was that Polycom UC pre-5.6ish had a BLF bug that caused issues. Updating the phones to UC 5.7 or higher (5.8.x is the current) will fix this bug.

The problem with relying on the EPM for your firmware updates is that the firmware packs are never “up to date” as far as current releases. They need to be tested, verified and made sure the changes/fixes/updates don’t break how the EPM templates configure the phones. When someone like Polycom isn’t a “certified partner” with Sangoma this makes it even harder.

UC 5.5 is like 2+ years old and has bugs, like this, that have been resolved in current firmware.

FollowMe Don't show missed calls answered elsewhere

So I have a user who basically has FollowMe to another extension activated all the time.
I’d like to realize a behavior where he only sees missed calls that were not picked up by the FollowMe extension or by his VM.

Now I though this was purely a phone thing (snom D715) but researching a bit it turned out this was normal behavior in previous FreePBX versions…?

OK, so testing the updated firmware on Yealink was on my to-do list before the end of the month but now I’m very curious about this. So I’m going to be moving that up to this weekend/early next week.

My question to everyone is this, how did you configure your Yealinks on firmware 82.0.x or higher? Are both the firmware and the configs handled by the EPM module?

Your system has serious issues. The first one is opcache failure. That’s in the php binary. We can’t control that. The second one is a segmentation violation. Again an issue with php not freepbx.

Zulu licensing

Sorry if this has been gone over before, but imo there needs to be some other options for zulu licensing other than the 2 free users licensing and 20 user license packs. I have a base of customers that have under 20 users, (also a large amount that have more than 20) and I can’t see them purchasing a 20 user license for 10 users. I could see them buying a 10 pack for 8 users, that would be fine but not a 20 pack. For customers that have more than 20 this isn’t really an issue, but for under 20 the licensing model is holding zulu back from getting to these users. Are there any plans to offer single user licenses in the future or maybe 5 or 10 pack licenses? I’d just rather not see the business lost to bria or similar when zulu is so much better.

The following modules are disabled because they need to be upgraded: restart, sangomacrm, xmpp, zulu

BLF Cisco 8861 with PJSIP and others Phones

I know Tom, I’m totally agree with you, but it’s not my decision.

I has already spoken with the concerned peoples about that, but they Don’t seem ok with new phone.

So I work on the last setup of the freePBX (trunk and PATTON) and I have proposed to use One of the old SPA-508g with a side-cars to monitor all the extensions and use 8861 to call.

Not the cleanest solution, but the phones cannot be refund so…

Interesting, I did not find this form
If someone knows it I would rather pay a few Euro than having to become crazy …
The fact is that it should then be integrated into my software and then I should access the “API”

Separating groups of extensions

I am new to FreePBX but have some basic asterisk knowledge. I am trying to help someone that has an existing FreePBX 14.0.3.6 installation that has been up for a while and was created and managed by someone that is no longer accessible. Basic management is fairly simple but they need to install some Viking intercom speakers in classrooms that cannot be dialed by all phones, only from a select few. They are going to purchase the Class of Service module to manage intercom groups and permissions but as I understand it any extension would still be able to directly dial any of the viking intercom speaker extensions directly and that cannot be modified using the Class of Service module. I was going to modify the extensions_additional.conf file and create a custom context to simply block extension ranges (existing ranges are 2XX 3XX and 4XX and the new intercom speakers will be 5XX) but it appears that cannot be done with FreePBX. I was looking at the Custom Context module which appears to be able to add the contexts to the extensions_additional.conf file but I cannot figure out how to properly configure it via the GUI. Can anyone give me any pointers here or possibly help with an easier way to get this done?
