okay, ran fwconsole ma updateall
and that allowed me to press “apply config”.
What was the cause? Just not having internet access during install? It did have internet access, so I’m not sure what the cause was. I’d really like to know.
Now I have a new error on the dashboard:
The following commands failed with the listed error
/var/lib/asterisk/bin/module_admin listonline > /dev/null 2>&1 (1)
and also:
restapps is not running
UCP node is not running
Xmpp is not running

Did you run the command above? If you pay attention and read you can see that the error happened over a week ago so you can just close it with the (X). This goes back to you not having internet even though you swear you did. This error basically says you didn’t over a week ago.
Sounds like your server has DNS issues. What’s in /etc/hosts. 10-20 seconds per page is near the limit of php timeouts. Your server sounds like it’s hosed. Especially with your internet issues and other errors. Perhaps you should start over.
No sorry nothing like this exists.
In plain English it means restart asterisk and then hit the (X). Since you already restarted asterisk you can click the (X)

Incoming calls to a queue - Recordings not showing in UCP
In UCP I can not see the call recording for the incoming calls to a queue. I add the call history for each extension but can only see call recordings for outgoing calls.
If I temporarily change the incoming calls to hit a ring group instead I can then see the call recordings in UCP.
I know the incoming calls for the queue are recording because I can find them if I dig through the CDR reports.
Is this a known issue or a bug?
FreePBX modules are up to date and server is up to date with patches, etc.

There are some SIP Providers who are able to provide international numbers on the go… Some are actually asking for some documents that can prove you have operations in said country.
I would contact SIP Station sales and discuss with them the need of a UK DID and see if they can offer anything.
However, if you consider going this way, depends on how much outbound calls to the UK you will make, it might be cheaper going with option 2.
The only thing is, some providers aren’t allowing two Trunks to the same PBX, not sure if you can do that with SIP Station.

You obviously have something wrong configured on this VM.
I have a test VM with 2GB ram & 1VCPU. Never disappoints me.
If you constantly have the “Apply Config” button showing, without you making any changes, you gotta look if someone else has access to this machine, or you perhaps have automatic jobs running that are making changes?

So that’s contradicting with your first post where you said you have trouble accessing it through the WAN IP, now you say that you have trouble accessing the LAN IP.
Can you please clarify what issues you are experiencing, and what you already did trying to setup or resolve?

FreePBX 14 and HA
Has anyone tested using virtualization to combat the HA problem? Putting FreePBX in a virtual cluster (ie, VMware HA, Xen server cluster, Hyper-V cluster, etc) would fulfill that need as well. Not sure of the best cost option for HA, but if it is critical to have HA, then putting it in a virtual environment would solve that.
In fact, I believe most other phone systems work that way, at least that was my experience with Cisco, Shoretel, Toshiba IP Edge, and Switchvox. All three of those were sold as physical hardware that essentially has a free ESXi and their virtual server ran on that dedicated host.
Difficulty provisioning Sangoma Phones
Hi all,
We have FreePBX installed and have so far got our SIP Trunk connected and working and a handful of soft phones registered. Our next step was hardware phones so we purchased a Sangoma S500 for testing purposes. The PBX and phone are on the same VLAN, EPM can succesfully detect the device by scanning the network, we select the sangoma default template. When the phone reboots we see it connects out via port 6000, 443 and 80 (to Sangoma I assume) and then it attempts to download an XML file from the PBX at which point the httpd logfile shows a 404 error which is file not found. I have tried http and tftp provisioning and there is no authentication set for the http provisioning. I can see the xml is inthe tftproot folder, any ideas??
