Our Vega 60 gateway has the following problems:

1. Two physical telephones inserted into FXS port can not be dialed.
2. Physical phone can successfully dial soft phone.
3. Soft phone failed to dial physical phone

Here’s what I did to finally get it to work. This method was a little aggressive, so I made sure my backup was updated and ready to go before I did this. I ran:
sudo rpm -e -vv --allmatches --nodeps --noscripts --notriggers grub2-common

I still had some issues, so I ran:
sudo rpm -e -vv --allmatches --nodeps --noscripts --notriggers grub2-efi

I then ran yum install grub2-efi

This installed both modules and now I’ve been able to run the general yum update command and have everything work correctly.

Have you rebooted?

This looks like a bug, do we need validation on this field?

What happened to my internet, only those connected to the network experienced errors after I updated the system module. Sometimes when restarted there is an error and sometimes smooth?

I have rebooted and everything booted up perfectly. I was worried that grub2-efi would have caused issues removing it like I did, but apparently removing it and installing it again before you reboot doesn’t cause issues. At least in my instance.

remove everything out of the /dev/shm/yumwrapper/ folder. Either move it out of there or just delete everything.

I tried updating a new install on a VM. If I update the system via the web interface the updates part borks until i remove all contents from that folder. If i update the system via yum in the CLI it works fine.

A good question is how did the bad “no value” creep into the configuration file? I don’t edit those files manually but rely on the web GUI. The “Trunk” section has been touched in months.

The only thing that happened was that the server was rebooted. It was working fine and then after the reboot, the registration was missing.

Just Sangoma S505’s and they all have a very low speaker and handset. Nobody seems to have an answer to these problems. Nothing from Sangoma tech support.

Out agents can be dynamic members of number of queues. How can i have different outbound route (different outbound number) for their calls, depending on which queue the agent is logged in?

That’s good news, because Mikrotik has a packet capture that lets us easily view what’s happening on the internet side. First, see whether an INVITE appears on an incoming call. If so, we can see whether it’s passed properly to the LAN interface, whether it’s blocked by FreePBX firewall, etc.

If not, we can look at whether REGISTER requests are going out and if they are properly formed.

Please confirm that the Mikrotik gets a public IP address on its WAN interface. If not, an ISP-supplied gateway or ISP NAT could be causing trouble.

You can not make direct calls between FXS to FXS in vega gateway. Call gets rejected. The call should come via the Freepbx in this type of scenarios.

If you still having the problem even after the call is coming via the Freepbx then please submit the support ticket at https://support.sangoma.com/ under Vega gateways.

My freepbx server suddenly reboot frequently in a day.I try to troubleshoot the issue but all in vain.
The messages show in log file /var/log/message show the below

from logs it seems pnp service problem .but I am unable to solve it.any help in this regards is highly appreciated

FXS of my two SIP phones has been registered successfully on FreePBX

I use xlite SIP Phone to call fxs, not sucess, but FXS can call SIP phone.

I have only recently got the router so I will have to investigate how to do that. Also because the router was provided by my fiber provider they have disabled certain tools such as Torch. (basically I can either use their free router or buy my own - if I do that they will not give me any support if they think it is a router problem I can change almost all of the settings apart from those that they think are critical to their service)
