FreePBX music on hold on busy calls

$

look at the inbound routes destination and follow it

it sounds like you have something explicitly directed to music on hold , directed to queue which is playing music on hold , or something else thats playing music versus ringing

cli call trace of the event would be helpful

MOH set on inbound route always plays default, not the class I specify

I have set up a class with streaming audio. This is not a production system.

I only have one inbound route specification and in it a specify the class that points to the mpg123 app and the URI of the stream. I also have an extension that specifies the URI of another stream.

I then dial the DID which is routed to this particular extension. After answering, I the extension puts the incoming call on hold and I hear the specified class. Then I put the incoming call on hold and all I hear is the default MOH files, not the class specified in the incoming route.

Not sure what the problem is.

How to set up fop2 credentials

I added a user from the GUI as you suggested. In the Permissions tab, I don’t see fop2 listed. When I try to login from mysite.com/fop2, I get “invalid credentials”

"Default locales" form is being shown in freepbx 13

We have customized freepbx 13 (centos, php5.4) and deployed it before a couple of years. It was running fine until today. Today, suddenly we got “Default locales settings” screen after logging in to the application. We have created 2 languages i.e, English and Thai. We got this screen earlier when we installed freepbx and logged in for the first time. Then we updated the setting by selecting the appropriate language and time zone. Today, after updating existing time groups (which has been created before a long time) we are getting this issue. I am not sure if updating time groups was behind this issue because we never got this issue before while performing any actions on GUI including managing the time groups. After doing some RnD I observed that method “oobeRequest()” inside admin\modules\soundlang\Oobe.class.php is calling that page. But unable to find how this method is being invoked.

Can some one help me out to replicate / fix the issue…

Hello, Overnight my ring group stopped working. I changed the inbound to a direct extension and it went through ok but when it’s on a ring group all the caller hears is dead air. none of the phones appear to ring. I have even made a new ring group with same extensions and same thing. Below is the asterisk -rvvv of the inboudn call

Read

/usr/local/fop2/fop2.cfg

and make the credentials match

Did that. Restarted fop2. Still get “Invalid Credentials”

Normally fop2 puts its AMI user in /etc/asterisk/manager_custom.conf whereas the GUI puts them in /etc/asterisk/manager_additional.conf - I would check that you don’t have credentials in both places.

Source RPM for Asterisk 16.3?

I haven’t been able to find it either. I’m trying to re-build asterisk to include the Cisco usecallmanager patch but when I try to get the 16.3 source I get 16.2.1-1 which doesn’t cut it :frowning:

If you find it please share.

Sangoma S505 Phone - Very Low Volume

Working with support. To test they said to download a DB meter app and test using the tone from the time announce - *60. I tested with the phone app 2 foot away from the phone. The S400 and S405 with the volume all the way up produced 72-74 DB. The S505 was less than 63 DB.
They have escalated to the next level.

Source RPM for Asterisk 16.3?

There is no “if found, please share” with this. Asterisk does not release RPMs or packaged releases. Sangoma creates the RPMs for FreePBX distro users to pull from their repos for easy management/updates. You will have it when everyone else has it and that’s when it is in the repos.

Now you could do yum install sangoma-devel that puts you in the devel/testing repos and 16.3.0-1 is in it. I’m running that version on all my systems.

The supplied version is a 60G with 4 FXS ports, what is needed is 4 FXO ports. Can the unit be re-flashed with firmware to change from FXS to FXO ports?

Thanks

Peter
