Restore Fails with timeout

Tried a few more things:
I registered the box, restore does the same thing.
I saw the new file store function created a folder and picked that to backup to.
Created a full backup.
Uploaded my backup to the folder and it didn’t even recognize it ( yes owned by asterisk ).
No refresh etc would show the uploaded backup, so I renamed the backup I uploaded to the default backup that was created and got the following error on restore:

Not one to shy away from trying multiple things to learn, I went ahead, and erased the uploaded files.
I then did a new backup without CDR’s so it reduced the size of the backup, uploaded and tried to restore again, but it looks like the same result…

FreePBX to PBXAct

Hi Guys

I thought I’d post here, as its the weekend, I’m going going to here anything back from Support until next week.

We are trying to install a new PBXAct system, and have followed the following instructions:

Basically,

  • Install the latest version of FreePBX from an ISO
  • Active it to enable PBXAct (fwconsole sysadmin activate XXXX)
  • Wait a few minutes, then run the fwconsole sa eol command

However, this should return PASSED; im getting FAILED.

Inbound calls via same SIP trunk

Hi,

I ve the same issue, multiple SIP trunks to the same provider this means to the same IP.

Incoming calls are coming on a random trunk how can I differentiate between them.

I want each call to come from a specific trunk and not random is this possible ?

Manually connect a remote sangoma S series to freepbx vpn server

Another think that I noticed is that with the firmwares before the 1.58 the 705 phone has a strange behaviour with the vpn (discnnections).
With the 1.58 is very stable as far as the vpn connection.

Same issue here with five servers which are in different locations.

nslookup of mirror1 and mirror2 gives 199.102.239.170 and 162.253.134.144

Just remember the trunk just allows the call to come into the PBX once the call has hit the PBX I’m going to guess all your trunks have the same context from-trunk. That means that the DIDs that are being sent over that trunk (or any trunk) are all being sent to the same place.

But there also another question that isn’t being asked. How is this provider selling services? There have been numerous instances in the past where people have chosen a provider that doesn’t do trunking in the “normal” sense. So each time you add new numbers or want more channels or whatever, they are setting up individual accounts and providing that information.

That generally means they aren’t really big on doing what is considered SIP Trunking and they are providing you the equivalent of a POTS line based service for each account.

Do things like voicemail and other features come with each of these accounts? That’s another big sign.

It appears that mirror.freepbx.org has been down for at least several hours now, so FreePBX modules cannot be installed or updated. Any idea what the problem is and when it will be back up? Is there an alternate mirror that can be used?
