There is not backup trunk. I am not having luck making sense of the logs.

Flowroute supports both registration and IP authentication. If you are using registration, failure to register will cause the trunk to be unavailable, even if it’s ‘reachable’. If using IP auth, the trunk may have appeared to be unreachable at the time of the call attempt and become reachable later.
When you see an ‘is now Reachable’, that means it was previously unreachable.

I have done both registration and ip auth with Flowroute. Is that a problem?

Doing both on the same account is not at all a problem, but doing both on the same trunk is pretty weird, because a loss of registration will cause outbound calls to fail.
If you don’t have a static IP address, or have multiple internet connections, registration is usually best for incoming, so Flowroute can send calls to the correct address. With static IP, having them send calls directly to the address is more robust; there is no risk of lost registration.
For outgoing from a dynamic IP, you can use user/pass authentication, so an address change won’t block your calls. If you have a static IP or multiple static IPs, you can pre-authorize them on Flowroute’s portal and calls from those addresses will be accepted with no further auth (though the proper tech prefix must still be sent).

This all was working, btw. I change something.
There is one trunk so, yes, they are both on this same trunk. I have confirmed Tech ID, secret, sip server. I have deleted the outbound route and recreated it to no avail. I am at a loss.

Does this have baring?

Sorry, I have not seen this error before and have no idea what it means. If the trunk is showing as online, pjsip logger should show an outgoing INVITE and the response will likely show what’s wrong. If it’s offline, pjsip logger can show REGISTER (if applicable) and OPTIONS requests and their responses.
Adding file to backup
I am not sure if we are talking about the same. I understand that I have to install the module to “activate” it. I know I can sign it locally.
But in the module code I see nothing that backs up the module itself. So, if I after a crash install a new distro and restore from a backup, will the module be there?
BTW:
fwconsole bu --Implemented
does not work for me.
Sporadic FreePBX Setup
Hello everyone I am trying to see how to find my deployment name on my instance. I have been having mixed issues since I switched from Asus router to PF Sense Firewall. I thought all was working but on Zoiper couldn’t get audio on the OpenVPN connection. I come back to my instance now and I can dial in and no audio on my Sangoma s505 or on my softphone. I can’t even hear the echo test. And in my frustration I don’t know if I should start from scratch* I pay for my Trunk monthly and rarely uses as when it worked I was like set it and forget but now I just want it working. If anyone could help would be greatly appreciated! So now that I am done venting this is what I am needing
- How to test audio quality extiensively!
- I have done all the recommended items for PF Sense firewall (well its static from when it worked) any tips?
- My provider says I am the only person with this issue should I look at other providers?
- What is the best way to be proficient in this I would like to make this a career or add to what I do currently but I always come back after a while with it not working. I know it is a solid distro just looking for suggestions.
Again Thanks and sorry for being so verbose I haver backed up restored snapshots and just getting tired

While it says Port in both of those places they are entirely different things. The first is the port that your Trunk provider is listening on at their end. Its something they tell you to use and not something you can change yourself.
The second is the port that your server is listening on and what it tells other servers you are using so they can communicate with it. If you wanted to change the port your server was listening on to something other than 5060 you only needed to change this one.
My guess is you need to change the trunk port setting back to what it was as you are no longer registered with your trunk provider. There’s nothing in that log fragment to say what is happening with your trunks so I’m only guessing.
Network setup
I’m getting confused as to the typical setup for FreePBX
I’ve created a vlan in our office for physical desk phones, our office network has it’s own PFsense router for computers / wifi etc.
Is it usually the case that a FreePBX server has
x1 nic for wan (used for sip trunks and people connecting from home)
x1 nic for lan. (used to the vlan deskphones)
I want the wan nic to not go via our PFSense router
every time i enable both NICs on FreePBX i get locked out of both WAN and LAN interfaces
even when i tell the build in firewall that the WAN nic is internet and the LAN nic is trusted

Suspicious activity
I came to that conclusion and changed the trunk port back to 5060 and updated at flowroute and restarted Asterisk, no luck.
I currently do not have access to wireshark and I am not seeing the issue looking at log created by “pjsip set logging” or with sngrep. Not up on using sngrep or reading logs, as you can see. Suggestion for getting the right log to look at?
