Thanks for the support. But still it failed.
On the document pageId=114852215,
the descriptions and screenshots of the backup module are a bit different from what I see on our FreePBX, perhaps it’s not version 12, can I find the document that describes step-by-step backup on FreePBX12?

Block specific number from outbound route
Hello,
In IAX we have a route for 9xx ( 900 extensions ) but want to insure we block 911.
The 911 route is before the 900 route which should force it to go to 911 service, but we just had a case where over IAX to this PBX a 911 call was made.
I thought I could use ^911 as one of the lines in the dial pattern, unfortunately that didn’t work. (^ was NOT in syntax from what I read )
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Two extensions, one agent queue question
Greetings FreePBX community. I believe I have a simple problem, but I’m too new to the PBX world to know how to solve it.
I have a small shop, with one call receptionist. She typically works in the office but will often be in the garage. When the phone rings, she needs to hear it. I have the main extension in the office, with a 2nd in the garage. Ideally I’d like it so that when she is on either extension all following incoming calls are greeted with a “Currently helping another customer” announcement and placed on hold until she finishes her call.
I currently have all incoming calls hitting a ring group to ring both extensions. I like having the ability to call her office extension from the shop extension as well. I fear I’d lose that if I put both phones on the same extension.
Thoughts on how to configure it so that if ANY phone is in use, all future incoming calls get put on hold.
Thanks.

Sounds like you need a queue not an rg
Backup and Restore from FreePBX12 to 15
Thank you,
Now I have created a “Full Backup” file on the current FreePBX12, and attempt restore it on the New FreePBX15.
When about completing upload The backup file on the backup module, the Web panel changed, and showing " splitbrain \ PHPArchive \ ArchiveCorruptedException Header does not match it’s checksum"
and it prompted to copy the strings below;
splitbrain\PHPArchive\ArchiveCorruptedException thrown with message “Header does not match it’s checksum”

Block specific number from outbound route
^ in a regex anchors the match to the beginning, however in trunks the match for a wild card uses _
.
However a call to 911 is better matched as exactly 911
and not _911
which would match any string of characters starting with 911, often we add 9911
to catch some ancient thinking also

You don’t use FreePBX for this. This is not what is was designed for.

Zulu UC for Android Stopped Working (again) Upon Cert Renewal
FreePBX Distro 15.0.16.76
Zulu Server 15.0.58.9
Zulu app for Android 1.1.0.358
Hi there.
We are facing this sort of issue every now and then, in several installations made by our customers.
Mostly when they update the server certificates.
All of the Android devices get disconnected and we are unable to reconnect them again. We get the usual Invalid Server Certificate Error or a newer one “Registration data is not valid” (it is). These messages depend on the cell phone make and model.
Never a problem with Zulu Desktop by using the exact same server and user credentials
The only solution we came across is to delete the users and re-create them.
All we got is “Use Sangoma Connect” and “It looks like Sangoma is not doing anything to Zulu Mobile since a year ago”
Is Sangoma silently discontinuing Zulu mobile?
Our customers invested their dollars on Zulu licenses just the way they started using it, and they can expect a lack of continuity or an educated invitation to move to another fine product but they certainly cannot afford this kind of malfunction the only solution being forcing them to change the client and their server and firewall configurations in order to adopt Sangoma Connect.
This is becoming a bit distressing. We already know there’s Sangoma Connect, and it actually works but many of our customers will not expose their SIP ports to the internet. That is why we made them buy Zulu licenses in the first place. To not expose their SIP ports nor use a VPN client just as if they were using a common SIP softphone.
What are we supposed to tell them?
We really would appreciate an official word on this, so we can decide whether to stay or look for some other product.
Thanks!

I have Renal Cell Carcinoma and we’ve been fighting it with some drugs that can cause high blood pressure. I let mine get out of control and it gave me something called “PRESS”, which is an idiopathic swelling of the brain - basically a reversible stroke.
I’m not back to 100% and all of March is just “gone”, but I’m back trying to get caught up on something like 1100 unread messages.
I celebrated my 50th anniversary in IT back in September, so these kinds of stupid things are bound to happen. I’ll keep on keeping on, though, and try to remain a part of the community for as long as I can. I’ll talk to you y’all on Thursday night.
Responsive Firewall always blocks "good" external users
OK, so I have this tested and working on my system. The pull request is here:
Pull Request #92: FREEPBX-22170 - Prevent false positives in RFW - FreePBX GIT
Essentially, what I did was add a 90 second bypass to the responsive firewall for the first time we see a packet from an IP address. While this functionality was supposed to be there previously, the existing code would not remove successful registrations from the whitelist, and therefore the second time the whitelist would need to be used it wasn’t available and would cause a false block.
I also fixed the issue that registrations hitting the RFW were not always appearing in the UI, by marking the packets earlier in the chain so that they show up as soon as they hit the RFW, not after they fail it first.
What is still unsolved is that fail2ban is working alongside the RFW, and the rules in fail2ban precede RFW. Because of this, a misconfigured devices will cause FAIL2BAN, not RFW, to DOS an entire site. While I can understand the security involved, the likelihood of a sleep deprived sysadmin mistyping credentials is so much more likely than an inside job attack, that I would like to see fail2ban either disabled once RFW is enabled, or that the ruleset should be further down in the IPTABLES chains so that packets allowed through RFW should not be blocked by fail2ban.
Awaiting community feedback if these changes are smart or not.

That uncauses a resource exhaustion, which this doesn’t really sound like. With all of the extensions losing connection at the same time, I’d be suspecting hardware, especially something like a bad switch or wonky power. If you are using POE from the switch, for example, I’d be really likely to look in that direction.
Two extensions, one agent queue question
I concur with @dicko. A RG just rings multiple phones, a queue actually manages the call and allows you to control how it’s handled. A side benefit is that you could also extend the model so that you add functionality like “Press 1 to talk to Gladys or press 2 to hear the shop’s hours.” in an IVR…

Two extensions, one agent queue question
Sorry, I mentioned it in my topic, but forgot to reference the idea in my message more clearly. A queue is what I’m wanting, but I only have one ‘agent’. So I want both phones to ring, but once she has answered from either phone for it to queue all calls behind that.
Is there a “One concurrent call” per queue setting? So that when she answers from either phone the other doesn’t simply ring, and rather puts all other calls on hold?
Two extensions, one agent queue question
queues ring agents and agents answer queues If she logs in from one extension, only that extension will ring, chan-pjsip extensions can ring more than one physical device, not so much chan-sip ones
