How about fixing that bug I reported via ticket on this module, way back in March 2019 that has gone unanswered, or responded to?
Just wow

Have you confirmed that the pbx Firewall is the issue? Do things work as expected when you temporarily disable the firewall?
if anyone else faces this problem, this helped me
Link please?
I don’t care how you preface your posts. I asked what it has to do with FreePBX and I got my answer.
Hi all,
For some reason my /var/log/asterisk/full log is not displaying current activities. Any ideas why this would stop?
I’ve rebooted the server just in case.
Thanks,
Many thanks Bill for responding. Very helpful.
I created a directory /var/lib/asterisk/user and added that to my backup profiles - I forgot they could be added to having set them up sometime ago with the defaults.
Actually my version of FreePBX does not have Custom Files field but an entry called Items and new paths/files added by clicking the “+”

From a shell , post the output of :-
rasterisk -x 'logger show channels'
rasterisk -x 'core set verbose 3'
This will show you what you got, you can also check from the GUI settings-> Asterisk logfiles settings ->log files
what you asked for.
thanks Dicko. I just restored the VM to a few days back. The full log is working now. I’ll pop another query in a new thread…
Always a good idea to identify what you might have done to affect that in the last few days, if you absolutely didn’t do anything, be cautious , I have witnessed penetrations that first off disable Asterisk’s logging, which will effectively disable fail2ban.
I have a Grandstream HL503 with a PSTN line connected to the FXO port. I want it to route incoming calls to an internal extension 300.
Under the Grandstream HL503 I have configured in basic settings:
Unconditional Call Forward to VOIP: my freepxb server and the trunk I have created.
The FX0 port is registered.
when calling the PSTN number I get the error:
Do you have an inbound route that matches
Sorry Dicko. Ignore this. Darn typo in the DDI…
All working.
thanks
You could try calling 1-702-224-2888 and ask for Jin Qi, I’m sure he will have an explanation
Great answer !! That’s what I’ve been waiting for someone to tell me…
I can do SPA or softphone…
Thanks
I am pretty sure the trust/sync is a bug at this point?
I have reinstalled from the ISO three different times and I have yet to get the sync to work from running fwconsole firewall trust x.x.x.x
The setting would seem to tell you what it’s used for, and not as a “link” at all–it would appear to be exactly what it says, which is an encryption key. Why it would default to that, I have no idea, but it seems pretty clear what function that text is serving in the phone.
But I likewise question why random facts about random phones are appropriate to share here.
Backdoors in Chinese firmware is not new, pretty well ubiquitous now2, it might look like a chinese porn site to you, but in fact is in Las Vegas, these guys are very clever (better than you or I) what the hardware gets is unlikely what you would get with curl of a web browser.
Five years ago they would be rooted in a Beijing univrrsity. They learn quicker than us
by default this is actually used as the encryption key
but I think it is easy for any programmer to write code that would access this file and this link
On a scale of 1 to 10 somewhere between 1 - 2 I think, had a few polycom config files to do but did that using the replace feature in a text editor. Less that an hour off line time to do 3 PBX’s.
I think I went 5060 because it was the default and back in the day when I started on VoiP in maybe 2004 / 2005 there were occasionally programs that didn’t play nice “off port”.
I would recommend anyone using 5060 moves to an off port configuration, in fact I would urge Sangoma to introduce a script into the install and set up routine so users select a signalling port with a recommendation not to use 5060 unless absolutely necessary.
