Steps for downgrade Zulu from 3 to 2?
I finaly downgraded the module on module admin, to a lower version before v3, and it started working properly again.
We are now having normal behaviour on CPU performance.
So, It must be a software error. Still seems to be buggy on 3 version.
Does anyone suffer same problems?

There is currently a discussion here on the community on setting up GV with Asterisk.
Note, this will likely not work on the official distro.
BLF Warm Spare Failover not working
Only time will tell how asterisk handles that and the phone as it takes a lot of CPU on the phone to resubsribe every hint and depends on the number of BLF hints. Suggest you lab it up and see how it operates after a few days.
Fallover analog and digital line?
Hello dicko i kinda understand that. But in the grandstream fxo gateway box what do i have to do to make it channel 8 Port 8 that is how do i have that by it’s self? Currently how is it setup is no matter what is connected to the box channels it all rings to that incoming group. I paid someone 2 years ago to help me setup the grandstream fxo gaeway box. But i just found out that person who helped me passed away 3 months ago. So i have no clue how to isolate the 7th and 8th channel to be it’s own group.

In EMP you can export and then import on the new all your config.
Transfer to voice mail....with a catch
I have a customer coming on with us from an old Key system.
They had a button that allow them to basically dial ##* and wait for them to dial the extension.
Effectively sending a call directly to someones voicemail, but they only have to type in their ext.
I’m trying to make this work on a polycom vvx411 and FPBX 14.
I’m ok with telling them they will just have to put ##* but thought i’d ask if there is a way to make this a macro.
Transfer to voice mail....with a catch
Some phones you can do this with. I don’t think with Polycom you can. For example with Sangoma you create a DTMF button not speeddial and you put ##*+ which dials and the plus tells it to wait for more input.
FreePBX 14 - Cannot update Let's Encrypt certificate!
Why did it work out of the box last time and for some magic reason it’s sending a wrong token now? Who told it to send a different token this time? Is FreePBX changing configs on its own or something? I just don’t understand why such a long term supported product has these silly issues still.
BLF Warm Spare Failover not working
Have you tried setting subscribe register
to enabled
on your Yealink?
The description of that feature is:
Description:
1.The device will send a subscribe packet to the server after registration, and the supporting server will send back the infomation of current account to local device
Wouldn’t that be what you need?
Moving CDR and CEL from old to new
To help people searching, you can use these commands to export your CDR and CEL information from your old install to put into your new. Older versions could have asteriskuser instead of freepbxuser
Old:
mysqldump --skip-add-drop-table --no-create-db --no-create-info --complete-insert -u freepbxuser -p asteriskcdrdb cdr > cdr.sql
mysqldump --skip-add-drop-table --no-create-db --no-create-info --complete-insert -u freepbxuser -p asteriskcdrdb cel > cel.sql
New:
mysql -u root asteriskcdrdb < /home/mhammett/cdr2.sql
mysql -u root asteriskcdrdb < /home/mhammett/cel2.sql
UCP WebRTC Phone
When I manually type in the feature, it works as expected.
Fallover analog and digital line?
Sorry , I was assuming DAHDI, I haven’t used a GS box in years.
FreePBX 14 - Cannot update Let's Encrypt certificate!
You need to check your own configuration. This isn’t a freepbx bug. It’s actually not a bug at all. It’s a user misconfiguration

None of your errors have anything to do with making samples since freepbx doesn’t read sample files.
In fact making samples does exactly that. It makes sample configurations with extra data to demo a PBX. Unless you know what make samples does you could be exposing your pbx to be compromised.
If you want to make a complete guide there are several on our own wiki. None of which use make samples. You probably should base your work off of thos. But do whatever works best for you. as for freepbx, officially we do not support make samples and advise strongly against it. Nothing has changed in this regard.

Why don’t you report this as an issue so we can look into it. Please open a commercial support issue. By rolling back you’ve now messed up your Zulu version if you ever upgrade again. You’ll have to reset it.

This from the horses mouth as to way it is not a good idea for most people to
make samples

Very Interesting… Well I just finished installing using make samples and both inbound and outbound calls are working and I had zero issues.
I am going to pop in a different hard drive and attempt one more time without make samples, and I will take a look at the guides in the freepbx wiki, maybe it will show me something I missed.
Thank you.
Broke after zulu 3.0 install
@ApexIT Couple things, first ensure you are opening a commercial module ticket for Zulu and you are trying to select the deployment which shows Zulu on portal.sangoma.com on the deployment licensing page. If you’ve verified that and are still having issues, please send me a private message with the deployment name and I’ll take a look.
ZULU 3 Fax & SMS
@comtech These options should come from the user’s settings in the User Management option under Zulu. Please verify that the user has proper permissions set on their account. If you’ve verified they do, please open a ticket at support.sangoma.com so we can take a look and see what may be going on.
